Killarney Brewing Company, which has been producing great tasting, quality beers since 2015, has just unveiled the next chapter in its evolution with the launch of an 8-year-old premium blended Killarney Irish Whiskey.
This launch comes in the midst of Killarney Brewing & Distilling Company building a new brewery. The construction has been set up to meet the growing demand for their beers, along with a custom-built malt and grain distillery. On the heels of a €24 million investment, this stunning state of the art 62,000 sqft facility on the Ring of Kerry will overlook the McGillycuddy Reeks and the Lakes of Killarney, capturing the magical beauty of Kerry.
Upon completion, this new premise will be Ireland's largest independently owned and co-located distillery, brewery, and visitor experience. This will provide a cultural home to the thriving business, local employment and meet the burgeoning demand for premium Irish products and experiences from domestic and international markets.
Along with the launch of both the new facility and whiskey, Killarney Brewing & Distilling Co is also about to commence their Cornerstone Cask Society. This cask offer is an opportunity to lay down your own stock of Killarney Distilling Company's single malt or single pot still whiskey.
250-seat gala event space
The Fossa facility, on the coach and bus route, overlooking the Lakes of Killarney and the MacGillycuddy's Reeks, will have a rooftop garden, as well as a 250-seat gala event space, a chocolate shop and other facilities.
Once fully operational, it will employ more than 85 people and aims to attract in excess of 100,000 annual visitors.
